Al Farooq Omar Ibn Al Khattab Mosque, built with funding from businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor, is one of the acclaimed mosque in the region. Accommodating 2000 worshipers and registered as one of the UAE’s Islamic centers. Inspired by the renowned BLUE MOSQUE in Istanbul, Turkey, this mosque has also become an iconic tourist sports in Dubai exhibiting the diverse and rich Islamic mosque architecture.

 

Once this masque opened its doors for daily prayers the custodians realized the failure of sound reinforcement system. Al Habtoor Group appointed LC Acoustics to redesign internal room  acoustics and sound system. Complex geometer and cascaded multilevel domes posed serious acoustic challenges. LC Acoustics developed custom loudspeaker clusters with precision time alignment and specialized acoustics that helped achieve STI0.58 throughout the audience area.
