Ski Dubai is the first in-door ski resort in the middle east offering a unique mountain-themed attraction experience with an incredible opportunity to enjoy snow in the desert. By many Ski Dubai is considered one of the wonders of modern world. One of the leading attributes of a profound skiing and snow dome experience is the atmosphere and for that sound system is at the forefront for delivering that experience.

 

LC Acoustics conducted full acoustic survey of the cold and warm sides, developed acoustic guidelines, constructed full-scale 3D acoustic model and designed electroacoustics turnkey solution. Most challenging aspect was to deliver extended range sound for live DJ events inside the ski dome in “subzero” temperatures. Custom designed clusters and bass array has been used to direct sound away from overlooking Kempinski hotel guest rooms.
