At the time of the architectural design development Kilma Studio approached LC Acoustics to develop full acoustic design. Situated in in the high-rise One Lake Plaza, JLT the challenge was to minimize annoyance to the neighboring units in both horizontal and vertical directions. Development of a fully functional acoustic design for this studio that meets client’s budget was also a prominent constraint.

 

LC Acoustics took out-of-the-box approach for the design and worked with client to redesign some of the key aspects of this studio from scratch. New and unique ways were adapted for floor-ceiling isolation and room response optimization. As a result, the studio was built in record-time and well within the overall project budget!
